Description: This three-session series examines play therapists' personal styles and perspectives. Participants will better understand their contributions in the playroom and review the deeper stages of play therapy and related skills. The series will end with a focus on sustaining a long career and promoting wellness as a play therapist.

Learning objectives:
Identify personal orientation and style as a play therapist that is rooted in a seminal or historically significant play therapy theory.
Describe personal and professional relational style and impact on the unfolding relationship with the child (transference and countertransference).
Evaluate and recognize deeper stages of play.
Explain the witnessing process and ability to be with the child through affective resonance.
Demonstrate an understanding of wellness and strategies for promoting career longevity.
