Clinical Supervision Philosophy
Core Philosophy & Beliefs
Clinical supervision is a crucial aspect of safeguarding client well-being and preserving the credibility of the mental health profession.
The Inner Canvas Collective’s supervision program is built upon the following four pillars:
1. Professional Integrity: Aligning words with action, maintaining quality, radical reflexivity & self-awareness
2. Aspirational Ethics: Aspiring beyond minimal procedures and codes to enact change
3. Supervisory Alliance: Emphasis on the alliance and fostering a creative, & open supervisory space
4. Growth & Refinement: The notion that professional growth is ongoing and happens when we seek transformation and evolution throughout our careers.
