Family Based Play Therapy
Building a stronger system and a developmentally appropriate way to help children process and heal
What is Play therapy?
Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate, empirically supported treatment for children.
To put it simply, adults come to psychotherapy to express their emotions and problems; children play. The play is their language, and the toys are their words.
Things to know/expect:
Partnering with you to understand and support your child
Providing a space for the child to heal in a manner that feels right and is appropriate for them.
Meeting at the same time every week, building trust, and having someone to listen to, respond, and provide insights.
